Top 5 Tools Apps Performance in Ghana Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top tools apps in Ghana showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy by Nord Security, maintained a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $358 in early September. The app's downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching over 3K in the week of August 19, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter around 20.8K.

ExpressVPN: VPN Fast & Secure experienced an upward trend in revenue, with a peak of $312 in early September. Weekly downloads increased steadily, surpassing 2K by late August. Active users also showed growth, reaching nearly 9.8K at the end of August.

QR scanner - Barcode reader from DOSA Apps had stable revenue, hovering around $68 by the end of September. However, downloads saw a decline, dropping to just over 230 by the end of the quarter. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, ending at approximately 2.1K.

Surfshark: Secure VPN service showed fluctuating revenue, peaking at $129 in mid-September. Downloads remained consistent, with a small increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly 500. Active users stayed steady, finishing at around 1.4K.

Rapid VPN - Safe Secure Proxy by DuoPeak Inc. saw a decline in revenue towards the end of the quarter, dropping to just $3. Downloads, however, peaked at over 2K in early September. Active users increased significantly mid-quarter, hitting a high of 3.5K in early September before declining to 1.7K by the end of the quarter.
